Greg McFarland, LPC, CAADC
I am a dedicated professional committed to helping couples strengthen their relationships. My focus is on replacing barriers with skills and processes that connect and unify couples on their journey. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in professional counseling from Liberty University.
My therapeutic approach utilizes Gottman Methods for Couples Therapy, rooted in the renowned Gottman approach, designed to enhance communication, strengthen emotional bonds, and foster healthier connections between partners. My experience in these techniques equips me to help couples navigate their unique challenges and improve their relationships.
In couples counseling, I create a safe and open space where both partners feel heard, respected, and supported. I am deeply compassionate and empathetic, tailoring our approach to meet your specific needs, drawing from evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and a Christian Faith-Based Approach, as needed.
Taking the first step towards a happier, more fulfilling life together is an act of courage, and I commend your readiness to embark on this journey. If you’re prepared to take that step, I am here to offer my support and empower you both along the way.
