Why I Didn’t Post Yesterday
I challenged myself this month by having to post every day on social media for 29 days. I did this because I dislike social media but I also know that it is good for expanding my business and getting people to know whom I am and how I can potentially help them.
However, yesterday I didn’t want to be on social media. I wanted to enjoy a beautiful day with my mother and daughter. I wanted to be fully engaged with them at the park looking for butterflies and caterpillars. I wanted to watch them while they held hands in front of me on our walk. I wanted to snuggle up and watch a movie without checking my phone. I wanted to have a nice night on the town with them and my husband. I wanted to be present. I did these things and I don’t feel guilty that I didn’t accomplish my goal of posting on social media. I accomplished something for a bigger, better goal: being present for my daughter.
